Can equipment be delivered to place in storage until I’m able to commission the equipment?
Equipment storage can be arranged. Equipment may be delivered to the data centre by a third party to be stored on site for a maximum duration of 7 days.
My rack is closed with 2U blanking plates. Can I remove them?
The 2U blanking plates are there to limit the escape of cold air outside the Colocation pod, in order to maintain the temperature and pressure inside.
Is it possible for me to obtain a traditional access key for my rack?
A traditional access key will not be handed out to customers. Hetzner will retain a key for the rack for emergency access or to reset a passcode.
How does Hetzner’s free cooling work?
The concept of free cooling comes from the ability to make use of ambient outside air to cool IT equipment inside a data centre
Where can I do maintenance on my equipment?
You can do equipment maintenance, by removing the equipment from the rack and taking it to the workbench inside the data centre.
